"Investment Conclusion: We are raising our 2005 year-end target for the S&P 500 to 1300 from 1250. Our positive view of 2005 has not changed, but the market has shown that we were not aggressive enough when we set the target the first time... A target is a short way of stating the conclusion of a complex thought process. But sometimes events move faster or further than expected and a target change is appropriate even if the basic story has not changed."

So even if the basic story has not changed - that fundamental value is still the same - we must revise our targets. I read that to mean that since the market is going up (especially in the last few days) so we must revise our forecasts to reflect recent performance.

E, you are getting to be a really high-maintenance Poster Pal.

Look at your first question. Subject: German-Americans. Nobody bothered them . Why is that? The fact is that 10,000 GA's were interned or imprisoned. That was somewhat of a bother, don't you think?

The point is that your questions are not really questions, they are diatribes loaded with misinformation and with a question-mark at the end.

It is not my mission in life to convince you of anything.

You seem to be finished, for the time being, with hating your president. For lack of anything better, you have now returned to bashing our president of 60 years ago.

You asked for my opinions, but I can give you a shortcut. (1) Formulate your own opinion or position on any subject, person, or whatever. (2) My opinion/position is the opposite.

There--that will save us both a lot of time.
