Dirt cheap labor is only a benefit for business owners/employers. An endless supply of unreasonably low-paid workers makes it impossible for impoverished long-time Americans to raise their standard of living. Supply makes all the difference, a scarcity of lowest paid workers forces business owners to raise their slave-wage-level compensation. You're looking at the problem with the owners mentality without considering workers as well.
