Then what's the point of the reform? People aged 40 and younger think that they are going to be completely screwed out of Social Security. They may be right. Social Security doesn't appear to be a "fixable" problem, just a "manageable" one. I'm only 52, I figure I have maybe 20 years to figure it out myself, but I don't expect Social Security to go very far for me. I expect to do what a lot of solo practitioners do, work part time until I croak. Maybe Lindy will have another brilliant brainstorm like Qualcomm. ;^)
