Without an electroal college, there is a good chance those few blues could tell the reds what to do and control the US.

Founding fathers understood this.

Maybe the FF got it wrong. The best and the brightest are in the blue states. Letting the red states rule is akin to the inmates running the asylum.

Besides none of the red state people can spell or post working links. ;~)

you'd be surprised how many of the liberal talking heads have no idea why we have an electoral college....

And even fewer have read the Federalist Papers...
