You choose the semantics.

As I've stated, "replace" seems like an apt enough word to me. If Will has a synonym he likes better, that's fine with me. I was just befuddled over why Will would be so distressed about "replace." I just ran "replace" through the thesaurus. Maybe Will would like "substitute" or "reconstitute" better. Or maybe he wants to stick to "privatize."

I can understand him wanting to get the effort off to a good start so he's want a word with the right spin. But given Bush's mandate, it shouldn't matter what word they use... <g>

I was just curious about what might be bugging Will. Usually what he writes resonates with me. I just thought someone might be able to explain it to me.
