Right-o. Whoever thought the USA would go off the religious, fanatical, bile-filled deep end like this? If 2005 is really the year for peak oil production....it's going to get so much worse. ==== One interesting thing about the Bush admin. Their propaganda mill churns out a handful of really extreme views and floats them out to a stunned public (the few who actually pay attention). That makes their standard, run of the mill extreme views seem positively moderate and rational in comparison. The idea that Bush has engaged in a holy war between Fundamentalist Evangelical Armageddonists (no longer worthy of being called Christians) against Islam makes the idea that we went into Iraq for oil and money seem quite sane.
