Oh, okay. I did see the Veronica Guerin movie, and didn't like it. I knew all about her, I thought she was very brave and a modern heroine. Mr. Grainne is Irish, so I have long been fascinated with the Irish press, the Troubles in the North, the influx of drug dealers as the society modernizes, the priest scandals and the decline of Catholicism, etc. The movie just seemed really jumpy and not that artistic to me. However, you are not the only person who thought it was great, and perhaps I was just distracted when I watched it the first time.

Speaking of Irish movies, one of my very favorite movies of all time is The Commitments, about a young Irish soul band on the wrong side of the tracks in Dublin. Did you by chance see that one?
