Jeff is simply the best trader I have ever seen.

I used to hang out on his thread. He and I would trade the same things and he would invariably get better entry and exit points. That was partly a problem with Canadian brokers (typically, there was a 2-10 minute delay between my order entries and executions back in 1999). But he is a master of knowing when the turn has come on something.

I partly became an "investor" in 2000 because I couldn't make money "trading" any more. The Canadian commissions, 1-2 hour trade delays (!) and inability to short online was killing me.

Oh, and I also met a guy named Claude.

Thats nice but mostly don't apply to mining stocks. PE ratios and Earnings are not a good way to invest. Its old school and most savvy traders (not me LOL) know that earnings do not necessarily repeat and have a huge variety of factors affecting them. Mind you, a company with no earning needs to be rescued by the Canadian govt so is worth buying >G<

My strategy is buy and hold and bop till you drop.
