I do not have a good answer to your question.

From the perspective of my stuffy old industry I can only offer this. We only add jobs when they are really needed. Usually long after they are needed.

Across a spectrum of industries I could not say, but it implies some growth.

In 10 more years we can attribute hiring to the boomers leaving for positions at Walmart.
