The sorry behavior of the media is a big reason Bush won so many votes and garnered a massive turnout. The man on the street values our troops and the fact that al quaida has been unable to mount another attack on our soil in quite some time now.

Also, on reflection, I see that the visitation in question was the second for the room in question. Under those circumstances, a grenade would not be a good solution.

I agree that shock value is the biggest consideration for news programs. They are careful to "protect" us from the ugly reality. I would rather be spared this protection.

That is one solution but rooms are large.
