The argument of racism or any other feature exhibited or not exhibited by lower animals is of little concern. It is very simple. If we are to carry on as do all other animals, we would allow the weak to die, rather than construct fantasy living situations in which we pretend they are living productive, fruitful lives.

This is really the heart of the matter. In truth, I think those who pretend as you say are in fact making themselves weak by expending their resources to promote the pretense. Likewise, I think when we pass laws arbitrarily forbidding unions between entities in our species, we likely are making ourselves weak by disallowing strong parties to combine.

Strength (or fitness) in nature can be found in very many groups, and the meaning of strength can shift depending upon niche. Ultimately, I think nature gives us freedom to make our choices and it demands that we live or die by them.
