Good Gawd, can that be true? If so the ACLU has gone COMPLETELY LOONY. First off Secry. Powell has let it be known even from the beginning he was only gonna stick it out one term He was NOT DUMPED, to say so is demeaning to him. Secondly, Condoleezz Rice is acknowledged by EVERYONE to be EXTREMELY intelligent. Whether or not she has the temperment to hand State, I dont know, Bush obviously thinks she does and he knows her better then the rest of us. Its HIS CABINET and I am sure he believes he is making the best choices. jdn
