I think you're on shaky ground here... You say most Jews are born Jews....that is based on your premise that a Jewish person is a member of an ethnic group, not one just believing in the Jewish religion. You say this is due to genetics but above you use the phrase" whereas in many other religions", which shows you think it is a religion. If you consider it a religion and say most Jews are born Jews, it could be argued that most Christians are born Christian (or will very shortly be baptized as Christian). But I would argue that all humanity is born atheistic and has to be taught religion.

A person's ethnicity is usually defined by their country of origin.....so since Jews come from many countries of the world where there are families that may have roots going back many generations, why are they called Jews and not for example, Polish or German? Is this religious discrimination, or is this the Jewish person's choice..??? I'm asking, not opining.>>
