again, great thoughts, Altie... I particularly like.. 8. Renew the country's infrastructure - you fund it just like FEMA (but more money) - rebuild railroads, bridges, roads - ban fossil fuel cars by 2020 - R&D tax credits for companies developing alternative energy sources (not the timid past attempts at incentives for companies). This will create jobs...good ones. turning attention to the crumbling infrastructure was an obvious economic stimulus choice instead of the tax cuts that were implemented. And we will be ceding technology leadership to others if we don't embrace the immediate & huge issue of dwindling fossil fuels...

Have you folks been following Arlen Specter's opposition by his own men? Guess how much that guy knows about where the bones are buried. Do ya'll remember when JFK was assassinated?
