Just heard a reporter from CSM embedded with some Marine unit in Falujah being interviewed on CBC ... he helpfully explained that the reason U.S. troops haven't captured many prisoners is not because of any 'take no prisoners' policy, it's merely that they respond to any attack with such overwhelming force that by the time the shooting stops there aren't no prisoners to take.

Got disproportionality?

'All violations of international humanitarian and human rights law must be investigated, including "the deliberate targeting of civilians, indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks, the killing of injured persons and the use of human shields", Ms Arbour said'.
