Bush is trying to surround himself with a human shield against the truths marching right up to his smirky mug. Everyone must tell the King he definitely is wearing clothes.
Nixon tried that strategy also. It always signifies a doubt about ones self.
Nixon got by with it for over 2 years in his second term before he knelt down with Henry Kissinger and prayed. Kissinger thought Dick was a friggin' nutcase.
Then he resigned.
The difference this time, to me, is that with our amazing internet communications, with the news cycle almost being up to the very moment of every action, this second term will last shorter than Nixons.
There must be ex-CIA folks and ex-everything-else folks who will slip in the pieces of this dirty rotten puzzle.
Watch for more Republicans to differ with Bush on just about every issue he perpetrates on us.The reason to me is that they know lots of poop that is coming down their roads.
They want to be contenders in 2 and 4 years
Chuck Hagel seems to be the first as far as the majors go.

I'm looking for Condi's confirmation hearing to be much more of a barn-burner than ya'll think. They smacked her lipstick off in her 9-11 hearings and they will smack her again before granting her Colin's job.
Any of you folks who think our party is just sitting around are wrong IMO.

Sometimes reality has to be shoved down our throats for us to get it.
