However, I do think it is important to note that many, many Christians, reading the same Bible you are reading, interpret the Bible passages that pertain to homosexuality quite differently than you do, and they consider themselves to be good Christians. I don't think it occurs to many homosexual haters/bashers that there are gay people who participate at SI and on this thread. I always think it is amazing that it is just somehow acceptable to say weird and horrible things about them without any actual knowledge or understanding or empathy at all. And so while I'm pretty sure you will never change your mind, someone might, and I feel like it's important to present the other side. Has it ever occurred to you that you might have misinterpreted the Bible, or that your opinion about gay people could be misguided? Here is an analysis of the six passages in the Bible that seem to pertain to homosexuality, as analyzed by a gay, southern Christian minister. I have read them and he seems to have a good understanding of the fact that the words used then in different languages do not mean what you think they mean. And there are other arguments as well.truluck.com I think it is fairly obvious (correct me if I'm wrong) that you do not have any gay friends or family members who you've actually talked to about your theories of seducing spirits. Is that seducing spirits thing a Christian concept? I have never heard of it. Many gay people do feel lost, I would agree, but it is because they are discriminated against and hounded and rejected by their families, schools, communities, churches, etc far too often. Anyone, gay or straight, who is well loved and accepted during childhood usually turns out pretty healthy, and does not feel deeply lost at all.
