You think because something is implied in a newspaper article, that the implication must be true (especially if it supports your presupposition).

I think newspaper articles are written to sell newspapers. I don't live by the fear mongering word of spinmeisters. You seem to think I believe statins should be consumed as food. I'm the one who is telling you outright: ALL DRUGS HAVE SIDE EFFECTS.

That article says nothing more. Statins may have some unreported long term side effects. If so, it needs to be determined in a clinical setting. Then, appropriate label changes need to be made. That is all.
