No, we haven't "run out" per your phrasing, but if the talent pool includes me, you, Carter and Clinton, whilst excluding Arnold, .... don't you think we could do better? Heck Dave, neither you or I has done with our live's what Arnold has done. He's gotten some spectacular education and budget bills passed. He went from bootstraps to leader of a major world economy titillating voters all the way. I don't believe we've "run out". But when I envision the "American Spirit" (not be confused with that awful poster of the same name), I think of people who came specifically here and made something of themselves by a working smartly, earnestly and with the greatest desire and effort to achieve what they couldn't elsewhere. Those people made a great deal of this country from the 17th century to the present.
