Actually 2.5 divisions in first gulf war, hardly their fair share IMO. FRance is a permanent member of the security council and they offer 25K troops?

That's exactly why there are problems in Afghanistan. The entire world knows that the French are not fighters, they're lov.....well, they're not really lovers either. They're more like smoking chimneys that pretend to be a powerful nation, but they're mostly blowing smoke. That's why they're perceived as clowns. Americans find them amusing, like little yapping poodles.

Do you know that the French supplied a full division of troops to Gulf War I?"..... IMO That's because at that time there was no oil for food program where by the french Gov. benefited and at that time chirac did not have multi billion dollar deals with sadam for new oil feilds. Why do you think the french tried so hard with the help of the corrupt UN to stop the USA from removing sadam. And of course there is the love affair between sadam and chirac....appears chirac loved arafat deeply as well....nice friends this chirac guy has.
