L B -- the reporters are GUESTS of the military. I did not suggest Kevin destroy the tape (although any sane person probably would have). He SHOULD have given it to the military authorities. There was/is no reason to supply the enemy with ammo. Taking the bad with the good is one thing-- taking the stupid is another. Keven Sikes is stupid and his action borders on giving comfort to the enemy, treason.

The American public should arise ENMASSE and denounce Kevin Sites and NBC for their use of SENSATIONALISM in reporting rather then turning the info over QUIETLY to the proper authorities. Had they done that, then observed what was done with the info, they either would have had a story about coverup or in the event the situation was adequately resolved, forgotten the entire matter. That would have been THE RESPONSIBLE thing to do. jdn
