Yes, in order to cool down the economy.

We already saw the result of the slowdown, and in order not to overshoot, so China losen up on their lendings, and money supply should be up somewhat too.

I think I posted a piece news somewhere here that China predict the growth rate for next year will be slow down to 7.5% (or something like that) due to high oil price.
