J-at home: And a Merry Nazdung to you too. (g) I share your views on the buck,..... and on the US economy in general. It sure looks sick to me. Of course, being "early" in shorting the airplants can be dangerous to one's long term economic health. I have a bunch of short-side pals who have been badly mauled over this past few months and indeed one or two of them are in dire straits. Scars from ill-advised (good research - bad timing) short-side misadventures of a few years ago took a long time to heal so I have been inclined to "test the waters" before putting on consequential short positions. Sure glad I've been timid. (g) Even as I write this, I am carting a few (well-underwater) small short positions that smart. Thank goodness the gold trades have been kind. Best, Earlie
