the embedded reporter that filmed the incident was from NBC. Al-Jazeera showed the complete footage.

I see. I wouldn't be surprised if the embedded reporter's support staff in Iraq is Arabic, and one of them passed the tape to Al Jazeera. I would guess an NBC reporter would bust his ass to get the tape on NBC (thus he would get all the reporting accolades for "revealing the truth" and etc.).

Still, who knows?
