>>>Kmrt now at 102 or so. S at 45 and change so S should run up

highs pre market

KMRT 115.70
S 54.80

I started to short 1000 S beginning at 53.74
top short was 54.68

can't say I wasnt puking a bit when I had 5000 total at avg 54.14

but the swings since then have been SWEET to cover and play around

as an aside the son and DIL went into the hospital at 6am
waiting for calls from the dilivery room to hear the status of grand daughter #5

So two long term market share losing 'retail' companies merge in an environment of late to the party intense real estate speculation? And its a "good thing"? Anyone holding these companies better hope the management doesn't get confused and try to be a retail company.

Is that like insider info? ggg

Kmart is trying to buy its way out of the situation. Sears has been lagging so two laggers joining forces to make a more competitive answer to Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Have no positions in either.
