Everyone gets excited when food prices go up but everyone yawns when food prices fall.
Fruits and vegetables are up because of the hurricane.
If beans go up it might be because of rust.
Quite simply it is nuts to call any of this inflation IMO.

As for oil.
I maintain that rising oil prices in this environment are deflationary.

As for housing, way understated no doubt, but whats done is done. I do not expect home proces to be rising much in the future, do you?
