The U.S. Constitution enumerates powers to Congress. You're the idiot that wrote, "Laws Congress passed only apply to Congress". You must think the Congress wrote the U.S. Constitution. You're a moron.

What taxes have to do with the free exercise of religion is beyond me. The words separation of church and state appear NOWHERE in the document.

Congres is given the enumerated powers to tax.
