Duh

I take that grunt to mean you agree with me that the reason US did not "attempt to take Russia down" is not due to US "choosing not to use" its "grand ability in war", which is what you seemed to be claiming here:

it remains the case that America isn't the aggressor which subjugates and murders(not at home nor abroad), and people notice that fact.

Really, you can say that with a straight face? America is not "an aggressor", and it is not conquering/subjugating, and definitely not murdering. Really? :-)

What exactly do you call the unprovoked invasion of a sovereign country which was no in any way threatening the US, with assertions of imminent threat that were not only denied at the time but also found to be baseless later on? What do you call the act of taking the lives of thousands of Iraqi civilians, if not "murder"?

"People notice that fact"? LOL. I don't know which "people" you are talking about, but I can assure you that most of those outside the US do not share your warm and loving feelings towards America these days. You cannot have missed that fact if you looked at a poll or two on the subject.
