Oil for food scandal would have come out eventually whether Iraq was invaded, or not, particularly if the US had legitimate concerns about the program.

Meanwhile, the US will have spent 200B invading Iraq by next years end (probably more) and more like one half TRILLION by the end of the decade.

For what? For nothing.

Containment and a swack of forensic accountants could have dealt more effectively with Iraq, for far less cost and far fewer American, coalition forces, and Iraqi lives.
