Without falujah and without adequate communication and without protective cover of a jungle, terrorists are left to wander the desert or try to find allies in cities they enter. A tough US/Iraqi response makes this all harder and harder to do. I think zarquawi is back in the pickle he was in just after major combat ended and the non-terrorist element just may have to deal with the less bad outcome which is alawi and elections. I can see a scenario where this insurrection will peter out particularly if we can better seal iranian and syrian borders perhaps with some help on this front from the euros and UN, if not in deeds, words signalling that they too are for elections and against the insurrection. mike
