I am not in the war camp, but the "core" is curreently depleting Earth resources, we actually would need 120% of an Earth to go forward.
If, 10 % of the China + India population would want to live by our "core" standards, we then would need 5 Earth to live from.
And I am not willing to share my slice of the pie with anyone, want moh!

CB, agree, very interesting read and, given the relentless speaking engagements, Barnett is probably gaining influence within the military establishment. PNM is one of those rare works that offers a paradigm, an entirely new vision really, for how the US could approach international development. Wonder if any Bushies are paying attention?
