TP, A public education teaches the children cultures they cannot get from book learning or TV.

Only those cultures carefully selected by the "politically correct" establishment, and only in the form they approve of.

What is weakening this country is public school graduates that cannot read, write or utilize basic mathematical skills.

How can a kid get ahead if they cannot add and subtract well enough to run a cash register? Even McDonald's requires this basic skill to get out of the kitchen.

How can a kid get ahead fi the failed public school system did not impart the skill necessary to read anything more complex than a street sign or welfare form?

Home schooling is not the problem. Union enforced school failure is the problem.

BTW - My kids are in a public school.
