Not only do I recall that but I recall statements that Iraq played no hand in terrorism. Now it seems not only did they play a role in terrorism but in an effort to do so they used money that could have been used to feed people within their own borders

At the time they were called "US mandated" UN Sanctions were
causing 500,000 innocent Iraqi's to die needlessly.

Just like we heard a million times that sanctions were
working, Saddam is boxed in.

Unfortunately, that is all subject to liberal revisionist
history. And now that the French are the culpable killers of
the innocent through the bribes they accepted to protect
Saddam, it will all disappear in the dustbin of history,
forever forgotten & never to be mentioned by the MSM.
