To tell the truth, I had been worried you might have crashed your plane.

Seems to me that when I was a child, a Piper Cub cost about the same as an Oldsmobile, though I may have it wrong. From what I read now, the bottom-of-the-line planes cost about four times as much as a good-sized automobile. Of course, I am sure they are far, far, better machines with avionics that weren't even dreamed of decades ago. But a new very light two-seater costing around $35,000 is going to be manufactured locally where I live. It seems to get about the same FAA certification as a lawn chair with weather balloons attached, however [G]

I have never taken flying lessons myself but always wished I had.
