Impossible to explain. kerry shot a nearly dead kid running away in the back and recd a medal-- there was no possibility he was in danger so how is what this kid diffeent other than there was a danger of an explosion?

The problem, as I see it, is our MEDIA somehow feels it is their GOD GIVEN RIGHT to be ANTI GOVERNMENT and ANTI anything the government stands for UNLESS that government is run by a DEMOCRAT. And, our government, cowards that they are, instead of standing up to the media and BLASTING THEM by going direct to the PEOPLE cowtows. Look at the last election. If it were not for the INTERNET we all would have thought Kerry has a big war hero the likes of John Wayne in the movies. Instead, we found he was a strutting sneak who was such a PIA that they FOUND WAYS to send him stateside. This poor Marine is just caught up in the trap. He probably will be dishonored for the rest of his life, but even worse, likely the military will put out an order, written or otherwise, to not shoot anyone who is wounded. This will result in HESITATION, and in Combat, he who hesitates IS KILLED. jdn
