JF, Sounds like you can't see public schools in any other way then "politically correct" conformists. Which sounds a bit "disdainful". I'm just presenting an alternate point-of-view. Obviously the public school system by its very nature is conformist. The political correctness should be obvious. For lots of private and/or home schooling families, neither is their cup of tea. Personally, I plan on sending my future kids to public school. Call me naive, but I don't believe in sheltering my kids, even if I don't agree with some of the PC-nazis who heavily influence our schools. Tenchusatsu
