Sidney, I am not judging you on the basis of anyone else's movement, whatever that actually means. Based totally on your own words (how else can anyone evaluate you in a totally word-based reality like this), I can only note that you seem to make pretty judgmental decisions about who is and who is not a Christian. Your beliefs differ markedly from those of Biblical scholars, the Catholic church of Ireland, and the governments of all the modern industrial states except America, where gay marriages and/or civil unions are rapidly becoming the norm. We are extremely backward here. What's that saying--the religious right is neither? What always appealed to me about what most theologians think are the authentic words and thoughts of Jesus is that he was not judgmental. I don't personally believe in heaven in the traditional sense, but if there is one, I'm sure it's full of people who love their neighbors, straight or gay, and are gentle and kind and tolerant with each other. I'm afraid you're going to be really disappointed when you find so many homosexuals up there!
