Of course it could be that some of those contracts were bought in advance by the ETF and they will take delivery. Actually it would be a good strategy to create a boost in the gold price by squeezing COMEX just when the ETF starts trading to ensure a decent opening price for the shares.

Squeeze would be nice... Comex will demand more to be kept on hand if stocks are lowered. Seats on COMEX continue to rock, so locals see no problem :))
