The missile can carry up to 10 nuclear warheads and can reportedly maneuver in ways that are difficult to detect. It was likely this system, which was successfully tested in February this year in the White Sea, that senior Russian military officials were referring to when they said earlier this year that Russia had weapons that would outwit the US’ planned US$50-billion missile defense shield.
