Is AMAT headed to the likes of DELL, CSCO, and INTC with regards to options and shareholder equity? The 2 most important things that stood out to me from the earnings day report and related comments were: 1.) The shifty way the litigation settlement was included as ongoing operations in order to meet analyst estimates. 2.) The later comment about dividends being an "entitlement". Those 2 items should give a little pause that this isn't the AMAT of old. #2 especially reeks of a disdain for shareholders.
