I think you look at the shares that started trading today, and then what it ends up at the end of the day, that will tell you the gold they need to buy. Don't know where to get that figure, if anybody does though we should track.

If you've been reading my recent posts (as opposed to last summer after the swoon when I pounded the table on all metals) on the USD and gold, I've been saying the finds are in too heavy and that the ETF was front run by boyz. In fact we may very well get a strong MoP inspired USD counterrally, which may shape up as the last great anti-USD entry point. This guy straddles some, but it's a good synopsis of the risk/reward:

BTW I've been neutral on energy, but am warming up as I think the MoP duct tape program is about maxed out.
