Ron,

Congratulations on being Grandpa again! My best to you and your family.

All,

If you were looking to invest in various Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) today with a one year minimum time frame, which would you prefer?

ETFs that have underperformed or outperformed the S&P 500 this year? The question is will the outperformers continue to outperform or will the underperformers catch up?

Which sectors do you think will do best over the next year or two? Financial services, Health/Biotech, Energy/Metals, REITs, Technology, Telecom, Utility, Transports, others?

Growth funds or Value funds?

Equities or bonds? This one is easy. Bonds prices should go down as interest rates go up. I don't see how bond prices can rise from here, but it's always possible. I don't think that I would put more than 5% in bond funds, and I might just put 0 for now.

US, European, Emerging markets, Asian, Latin America?

I couldn't find any ETFs that are net short. Does anyone know of any?

There are hundreds of ETFs now. Obviously I wouldn't put an entire portfolio in one ETF, so I'm looking for more maybe the top five or ten. What do you all think? Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dan

Fishy ...

pleased the new addition and family are doing well

suggest that you hunt about up there in the snow/ice covered area where you reside and see if you can't find her one of these ----
a car which shares her name >>>> btinternet.com

she'd think of you as pretty special should you purchase her one

again, great news
