Uh... excuse me, but wouldn't it be better if, instead of Sharon having to guarantee that Palestinian Pizza Terrorists have free roam through the polling gates, it'd be more appropriate that the Pals, themselves, take some responsibility to ensure that they can have that free election their own selves, and actually police their own murderous elements amongst their population?

Sharon, as an admin, can only act in accordance with what these people have previously demonstrated as their inherent capacity. Like Will Rogers, all I know is what I read in the papers. Pals need a new and better skilled marketing agency to overcome the notion that they're a tribe of terrorists; the exact message that they've brought upon themselves, I daresay. From your article, whose responsibility is it to hit the home run, I should ask in refrain?

"Next, Mr. Sharon has got to do all he can to expedite free, full and fair elections involving all Palestinians - including those in East Jerusalem. Right now many are practically under lock and key, with their movements zealously restricted by Israeli roadblocks and closures. Added to that are regular Israeli Army incursions into Gaza and all the towns in the West Bank, which will also discourage election turnout. Obviously, Israel has the right to protect its citizens from Palestinian suicide bombers bent on upending any attempt at a peace settlement. But Mr. Sharon and the Israeli Army need to find ways to allow Palestinians to maneuver more easily around roadblocks and closures - especially when it's time to get to polling sites."

Hollywood can't win: Doesn't Conservative pundit Peggy Noonan appreciate the 65 ABC affiliates that pulled "Saving Private Ryan" from their Veterans Day schedules because of violence and gamy language?

Fuhgeddaboudit!

"Hollywood is so nonunderstanding of normal human Americans," Noonan tells Entertainment Weekly. "These liberal-leaning heads of major TV affiliates have interpreted the reelection of Bush to mean that they shouldn't show 'Saving Private Ryan' on TV because creepy little America will complain [the way] it complained about Janet Jackson.

"Really, the amazing thing about Hollywood is how they make so much money entertaining people for whom they have such contempt - people they think are stupid Martians."
