It has to be obvious by now that she can be blind as a bat to
outrageous behavior by liberals. She consistently defends
them despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Yet she
can perceive the absolute worst from a conservative despite
no corroborating evidence whatsoever.

You have a restricted view of what I do. There is a lot of outrageous behavior both by liberals and by conservatives. I speak out from time to time against both. You don't see that for at least these several reasons. First, you speed/read filter my words to the point where what registers with you is far afield of what I say.

Secondly, you see me addressing the excesses of conservatives more than the excesses of liberals because conservative comprise this thread, not liberals, so that's who is available to me here. I sometimes make references here to forays into the land of liberal excess but you don't notice those (see point number one) so you don't witness me challenging them, too. (Just yesterday I pointed out some excess to Mary Cluny right here on this thread. Betcha you just read right past that.)

And third, you and I have very different scales of excess. You are so far off the scale side that you think a liberal asking someone to pass the potatoes is being outrageous. Therefore, you see me defending liberal excesses when what I'm defending is liberals in their more moderate or ambiguous modes against your excessive charges of excess.

I've seen enough racism. I've been on the front lines. This example is ambiguous, close to the line. Close enough to the line that it's debatable. Which makes all this screaming and hollering about it excessive. Which makes it fodder for commentary from me. And outrageous hyperbole from you about my commentary.
