Because Hitler and the Nazi party claimed they were following the Christian faith and they used centuries of Christian history and beliefs--and in particular the manic ravings of the German biblical scholar and leader of Religion, Dr. Martin Luther. "WW11 looks like ww-eleven. It was a joke, where is your sense of humor?" Well, thank you for the explanation. "Then you are willing to impose your "values" on others with force if necessary." You just made that up, and it is certainly and entirely false. The only force I believe in is defensive force to protect the violation of person or property. I have no problem with you believing your values, nor in you preaching them. I have a problem with the people who are doing "God's work" with guns and swords. The world has had enough of it. I have said before...the religious people with their 50,000 different CERTAINTIES would all be better off on another planet where they could send one another to Hell without anybody saying dirty words like humanism, secularism, agnosticism, atheism, civilization, or humanity.
