Except for your remark about "finally (finally? 2004 has been one of the most inflationary years in decades) adding to inflationary pressures" I think you've hit it. Even so the stock market is only down 1% with all this, including a pretty good oil spike this morning. That's just one small program trade lately, so unbelievably complacent reaction.
