Then it wouldnt be a deterrent and i wouldnt be for it. I suspect you may be wrong though and since neither of us is all that knowledgable on how a devout muslim, wahabi fanatic would react to such a deterrent threat, i would ask others with more knowledge to respond. And to compare bush to bin laden is sickening. You are testing the limits of my patience. There is no need to make stupid exaggerations to entertain winn and co.

No one will go to war unless he thinks his cause is just, except a sociopath. That is true whether it is Washington (a Deist), Lincoln (an agnostic), or Bush. And anyone who has any kind of belief in God presumes that God wills what is just, and therefore that God is in favor of his cause. Thus, you are drawing parallels that are not telling, because close to universal.
