Slant point - UN Headquarters Expansion?

A small controversy is brewing over the proposed expansion of the UN Headquarters in midtown Manhattan. Why this city or state would want to do anything for the U.N. is beyond me. If this was Enron, we would be taking these people out in cuffs.

State Conservative Party Chairman, Michael Long:

We should be considering moving the United Nations to France."

Governor Pataki supports the expansion.
