kerry and elite friends try to hide their racism.

Blacks in Kerry's campaign, except for Jessie Jackson, who made a late arrival, were conspicuous by their absence.

Kerry had their votes in the bag, so there was no need to do anything, not even something symbolic.

Edit: Well, Sharpton, that huckster, did deliver a speech for Kerry at the Convention, but was absent from his campaign otherwise.

I can't dismiss "elitists" casually. I know a few, and they really believe their views are best for the common good. That their programs/plans would lift the veil of racism......and everything in between like redistribution of wealth.....if only the rest of us would follow along.

So far they haven't been very effective in conveying what they (plans/programs) are, but I believe they are convinced that eventually we'll all come to their pov since they consider them to be the truth.

They are selective about it though. They will only play the game if their selection for DNC chairman is announced, and that makes them as biased and special interest oriented as the rest of us.
