Then you are at extreme odds with the liberal left. They want "special categories" & they want "special treatment". And most of all, they want it run by big government liberals. What they have failed to recognize is that many who receive "special treatment" will abuse it because they will learn they are protected. They fail to recognize that this will actually discriminate against others, while it causes those in the "special categories" to be treated with disdain by everyone else. No one wins. So the liberals will just throw more money into bigger government & more failed policies that cause more problems. They never give up. They just add to failed policy after failed policy. Why? The same reason they are still certain "Bush lied". When history proves them wrong, they revise history & they actually believe the new version. "As to racism; I have long believed that putting people into "special categories" led to stereotyping and is blatantly racist. I don't think racism, or stereotyping will end until we all agree to quit putting people into those "special categories" that receive special attention."
